Hit-and-run collision left a woman dead on S Sunshine Ave Near West Washington Ave in El Cajon
As mentioned in an article from the San Diego Union-Tribune, on Thursday, February 15th 2018, a woman was killed as a result of a hit-and-run collision that occurred on South Sunshine Avenue near West Washington Avenue in the city of El Cajon.
Furthermore, according to the article at about 4:30 a.m. a man who was driving to work found the victim lying on the street of S Sunshine Ave and immediately called 911. The woman was transported to a near by hospital, where she later died. However, authorities have not released the age and name of the victim.
In addition, authorities state that they have zero information on the vehicle that fled after striking the woman.
Currently, this incident is undergoing review by officials as they work to find the person responsible for the hit-and-run. Further details will be available at a later time once officials conclude their investigation.
