One of two hit-and-run drivers arrested after deadly accident

A woman in her 50’s died on Wednesday after she was struck in a collision by two hit-and-run drivers at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Stagg Street, according to a news article from ABC 7.

The accident took place at about 11:20 p.m. at the intersection where the victim was crossing inside a marked crosswalk, said Los Angeles Police.

A surveillance video acquired by investigators determined that the woman was struck by a vehicle that was making a turn at the intersection.  Subsequently, authorities have identified the first driver as 24-year-old Eric Limon, who has been arrested.

Additionally, a witness who stopped claimed that the victim was then struck by a gold, older-model Toyota Camry.  Authorities currently believe that the second driver, a female, fled the scene.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to find the second hit-and-run driver in this accident.

Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
