Woman Injured After Car Accident on Highway 134 Near Highway 170 Interchange

Condition of female victim currently unknown after highway collision

According to a California Highway Patrol report, there was a two-vehicle car accident on Tuesday afternoon at Highway 134 and Highway 170 that left a woman injured.

As mentioned by CHP, the car accident was reported around 1:00 p.m. when a white Jeep and a silver Volvo crashed into one another.  Reportedly, a female in the Jeep sustained injuries, although it is unclear how severe they were.

Furthermore, the Los Angeles Fire department arrived as well as paramedics to transport the victim to a local hospital.

Additionally, the silver Volvo was damaged beyond repair and had to be towed away from the site of the accident.

Currently, this accident remains under investigation as police work to determine the exact cause of the accident and who is liable for damages.
