At least one injured after multi-vehicle car accident in Chula Vista

At least one victim was injured after a major four-vehicle car accident took place on the 805 Freeway at Main Street on Monday evening in Chula Vista, CA, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

The crash occurred at approximately 6:08 p.m. on Monday evening when the four vehicles collided on the southbound lanes of traffic of the 805 Freeway at Main Street, said officials.

The vehicles were described in the report as a blue Ford F-150, a green Honda CRV, a silver Honda Accord, and a maroon Toyota Tacoma, said officials.  It was not described in the report how the crash occurred or who was initially at fault for the accident.  However, authorities responded to the incident and paramedics treated victims at the scene for injuries in the car accident.
