Peter Myers and Lanfang Qin killed in fatal car crash involving Sacramento man

A driver and passenger died in a car accident involving driver Connor Poggetto on US 395 south of Highway 270 in Mono County last Wednesday, according to a recent article from Kolo News Now.

The accident occurred on Wednesday, December 13, at about 4:30 p.m. when 67-year-old Peter Myers and 47-year-old Lanfang Qin were killed in a fatal crash on U.S. 395 south of Highway 270.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the traffic collision and determined that a Sacramento driver in a Dodge pickup crossed the center line at a right-hand curve, crashing into a Mazda vehicle head-on, causing the fatal collision.

Moreover, the pickup driver was transported by paramedics to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno after sustaining minor injuries.

Currently, there is no further information as the investigation is ongoing.  California Highway Patrol will release an update on the accident after their investigation has concluded.
