At least one injured victim is hospitalized following back-up collision

According to a news report from Onscenevideo.tv, a female and one other pedestrian was injured after a white SUV backed into them at a 7-Eleven on 8001 Greenleaf Avenue in Whittier, CA.

As mentioned in the report, the accident occurred at about 7:10 p.m. in front of a 7-Eleven on 8001 Greenleaf Avenue in Whittier.  Two pedestrians were stated to have been standing in the front of the convenience store before a white SUV backed into them.  It was unclear who the pedestrians were, but the report indicates that one was listed as a female adult.

Additionally, paramedics had to arrive at the scene to transport at least one injured female to a hospital.  It also stated in the report that a second patient may also have been transported after being hit.

According to the report, the driver whose name was not released in the report remained at the scene of the accident and was cooperative with the authorities.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
