Victims airlifted to local hospital for treatment

According to a recent traffic report, there was a car crash that occurred last Friday night where two people were struck and injured as a result.

As mentioned by the report, the incident occurred at about 11:20 p.m. when two people exited their vehicle on Arrowhead Lake Road near Rock Springs Road on Friday night.

A 2004 Nissan Murano, sources said, struck the Corolla as well as the two bystanders, causing major injury.

Rescue crews were dispatched and located the two bystanders who remained conscious during the collision.  They were air-lifted to hospitals for treatment of their major injuries.

Furthermore, the driver of the Nissan vehicle remained at the scene and was cooperative with police officers that had arrived.

Currently, there is no stated cause of the crash.  Authorities will continue to investigate for details leading to the liable party in this car crash.  Further details will be reported as they are known.
