Vehicle overturned and hit a tree ensuing a traffic collision in Whittier
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, April 20th 2018, at about 5:34 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the northbound of Interstate 605 near Beverly Boulevard in the city of Whittier.
In addition, the report stated that a white vehicle and a blue Subaru were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, the white vehicle hit the Subaru, overturned and hit a tree on the right shoulder, as stated by officials.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Additionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
