Two-Car Collision on Interstate 680 and Scott Creek Road Off-Ramp in Fremont Injures At Least One Person

Paramedics respond to a two-car collision

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 19th 2018, at about 9:15 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving two vehicles on the northbound of Interstate 680 near Scott Creek Road off-ramp in the city of Fremont.

In addition, the report stated that a white minivan and black Dodge Ram 1500 were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. 

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.

Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Additionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
