Two-car collision in Livermore injures at least one person
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Thursday, April 19th 2018, at about 5:14 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a two-car traffic collision on the eastbound of Interstate 580 and N Livermore Avenue in the city of Livermore.
In addition, the report stated that a black Toyota Corolla and a yellow Ford pick-up truck were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, the Toyota Corolla got stuck behind the Ford pick-up truck, as stated by officials.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.
Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Additionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
