Car accident on the 8 Freeway left at least one person injured on near College Ave in San Diego

According to a California Highway Patrol report, on February 6th 2018, at about 8:56 a.m. a traffic collision took place on the Mission Valley Freeway near College Avenue in the city of San Diego and left at least one person hospitalized.

Officials report that a black sedan and a white SUV were the vehicles involved in the traffic accident that left at least one person injured on Interstate 8 near College Ave in San Diego.  Furthermore, both vehicles were traveling west on the 8 Freeway right before car crash happened, as cited in the report.

In addition, at least one person was sent to a local hospital due to injuries sustained in the traffic accident.  Authorities still have no word on the condition of the injured victim.

The vehicles involved in the accident were blocking the number one lane of the 8 Freeway near College Ave in San Diego as authorities worked on clearing up and investigating the traffic accident.  This incident remains under review by authorities and further details will be released once the investigation has concluded.
