At least one person injured ensuing a traffic collision on the 210 Freeway near Myrtle Ave in Monrovia

According to a report from California Highway Patrol, on Saturday, February 17th 2018, at 4:14 a.m. a traffic accident left at least one person injured on Interstate 210 near Myrtle Avenue in the city of Monrovia.

Furthermore, CHP reported that a big rig was driving westbound on the 210 Freeway before getting rear-ended by a white Mercedes-Benz that was left disabled blocking the number 2 lane.  As a result of the collision at least one person was taken to a local hospital as a result of the accident, however authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
