At least one person hospitalized ensuing a car crash on the 405 Freeway north of Mulholland Drive in Sherman Oaks

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Wednesday, March 28th 2018, at about 2:05 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic collision that took place on Interstate 405, just west of Skirball Center Drive in Sherman Oaks.

Furthermore, authorities mentioned that a white Nissan and a tan Chevy Malibu were traveling northbound on I-405 when the collision occurred.  The accident caused major damage to both vehicles and required a tow, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Officials have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the accident.  Further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
