21-year-old Lucerne Valley resident crashes into cement truck

Timothy Iborogu was identified as a 21-year-old Lucerne Valley resident who was killed in a head-on vehicle accident on Highway 18, according to a recent article from the Victor Valley Daily Press.

As mentioned in the article, a car accident took place when a pickup truck crashed into a cement truck last Wednesday in Lucerne Valley.

Sources said that Iborogu was traveling at a high rate of speed before going over the south side of the roadway, said California Highway Patrol.  After Iborogu got back onto the road, he moved directly into the path of a cement truck.

Sources stated that the driver of the cement truck remained uninjured, although Iborogu unfortunately passed away as a result of the crash.

Currently, this crash remains under the investigation of the California Highway Patrol and further details will be released at a later time.
