Wife survives, husband dies in fatal plane crash in Clairemont

According to a news article from NBC San Diego, Robert Stelling was killed and his wife injured in a fatal plane crash near a Clairemont school park in a neighborhood backyard last Saturday.

The married couple were passengers on a 1995 Beechcraft Bonanza, a six-seat single-engine airplane that was registered to Altitude Aviation Inc., a company out of Hermosa Beach, California.

Robert Stelling, 50, was killed in the fatal crash along with one other unidentified passenger.

Dawn Stelling, his wife, survived the deadly crash, reported the article.

Currently, the plane accident is being investigated by the authorities, and further information will be relayed at a later time.
