Ambulances respond to multiple car collision in Sun Valley

Traffic lanes were blocked after a multiple car collision occurred on the Golden State Freeway near Sheldon Street in Sun Valley at approximately 3:33 PM on Monday, according to a California Highway Patrol incident log.

A white pickup truck and three sedans were involved in the crash, according to the report. The vehicles blocked traffic lanes until authorities were able to clear the scene.

At least one person was injured in the accident and received medical attention at the scene, according to sources.  Additionally, one of the persons involved in the accident was a pregnant woman.

The identity of the persons involved in the accident is currently not released.  Furthermore, it is also unknown whether or not the vehicles involved in the accident had passengers at the time of the collision in addition to the pregnant woman.

The investigation into this car crash is still ongoing. Further details will be released as it becomes available to the public.
