Traffic collision resulted in injuries on Highway 57 near State Route 60 in Diamond Bar

A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run car accident that took place on Highway 395 and Seneca Road in the city of Adelanto on March 2nd, Friday night, according to a recent news release from Onscene.TV.

As mentioned in the article, the accident occurred at the intersection of Highway 395 and Seneca Road at about 11:15 p.m. at night, when authorities received reports of an incident in the area.

San Bernardino County Sheriff’s officers responded to the incident shrotly after, where they quickly determined that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.  They were able to locate the victim, but the suspected vehicle was no where in sight.  Authorities concluded that it was a hit-and-run, said the news release.

Additionally, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, said officials.  There was no description available immediately of the vehicle that left the scene, however authorities continued to clear the roadway as well as find possible witnesses in their investigation.

Currently, this incident is undergoing review by authorities as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision.  Further details will be available at a later time once officials conclude their investigation.
