Pedestrian found dead laying on side of State Highway 35

According to a recent article from KRON4, a pedestrian was killed by a hit-and-run driver on Sunday on State Highway 35 near College Drive on Sunday morning in San Bruno.

Officials reported that the accident occurred at about 7:06 a.m. when officers responded to a report of a pedestrian laying on the side of the road, between College Drive and Sharp Park Road.

Police located the victim and medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene, said San Bruno Police Department.

San Mateo County Coroner withheld the name of the victim pending the notification of next-of-kin.

There was no vehicle found at the scene, said authorities, but police deduce from the evidence that the victim was struck by a car, according to the report.
