Pedestrian struck and killed by car on westbound 91 Freeway in Anaheim

According to a recent report from Onscene.TV, there was a car accident in Anaheim where a pedestrian was struck on the 91 Freeway near Tustin Avenue last Friday.

As mentioned in the article, the accident occurred at about 11:14 p.m. on Friday night.

Anaheim Fire and Rescue Departments responded to the crash and found a pickup truck that had struck a pedestrian, sources said.

Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian deceased on scene after arriving, sources said.

The name of the pedestrian killed in the accident was not mentioned, pending the notification of family members.  Furthermore, the driver who struck the victim remained on scene and was cooperative with investigators.  Their name was not released either, sources said.

Additionally, the report stated that the HOV as well as lanes No. 1, 2, and 3, were closed down in order for roadway crews to clear the debris from the wreckage.

Currently, the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol and further information will be released at a later time.
