Hit-and-run car collision injures one person on Santa Fe Avenue and Victoria Street in Compton

According to a local news article, on Thursday afternoon, April 19th, 2018, approximately at 2:17 pm, a car collision occurred on Santa Fe Avenue and Victoria Street in Compton injuring one person.

Furthermore, emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene to transport the injured victim to the local hospital, stated the report.

In addition, the driver who was involved in the collision fled the scene before authorities could identify the person, mentioned the authorities.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
