Injured pedestrian in stable condition after being struck by driver in West Hollywood

According to a recent article from NBC Los Angeles, there was an early morning pedestrian-car collision in West Hollywood at the intersection of Harper Avenue and Sunset Boulevard, leaving the pedestrian injured.

Per the article, the accident happened just after 3:00 a.m. when the pedestrian attempted to cross the street in an unmarked crosswalk.

A vehicle proceeded to hit the victim before authorities arrived at the scene of the accident.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to the collision and afterwards the pedestrian was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

Furthermore, the driver was also taken to a hospital under police watch.  Sources cited that the driver was arrested under the suspicion of DUI.

Currently, the crash remains under investigation and further details will be reported once the investigation is over.
