Two-vehicle traffic accident occurs south of Candlestick Park

According to a recent California Highway Patrol dispatch log, there was a car accident involving three vehicles on Tuesday afternoon that left one victim injured on Highway 101 in San Francisco.

As mentioned in the report, the accident occurred at about 1:33 p.m. when a white Honda vehicle, and two other unknown vehicles collided in the No. 5 and No. 4 lanes of Highway 101.

The report mentions that one victim sustained injuries in the chest as well as lower body.  Paramedics arrived on scene and transported the victim to a local hospital.

Furthermore, the collision left the Honda sedan with major front end damage, sources said.  It is unclear what the conditions of the other two vehicles in the collision are.

Currently, the crash remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.  Further details will be reported once the investigation is concluded.
