One person dies after fatal traffic accident on the 15 Freeway near Mira Mesa Blvd in San Diego

According to a California Highway Patrol report, on February 4 2018, at 3:00 p.m. one person died after their vehicle crashed into the center divider of the 15 Freeway near Mira Mesa Blvd in the city of San Diego.

As mentioned in the police report, the vehicle that hit the center divider was described as a white BMW.  Reports state that the BMW was traveling southbound before hitting the center divider really hard.  Moreover, the driver of the white BMW did receive CPR but the driver was still unresponsive, as cited by CHP.

All southbound traffic on Interstate 15 was shut down while authorities work on  investigating the exact cause of the traffic accident.  Further details will be released at a later time was the investigation has concluded.
