Daniel Arroyos, 22, arrested after crashing into pedestrian

According to a recent news article from MyNewsLA, Blade Linden was reportedly injured after a motorist ran his car into the pedestrian on the Santa Monica Pier shortly before 5:00 a.m.

Reportedly, the driver, identified as 22-year-old Daniel Arroyos, was allegedly involved in a dispute with other people on the pier shortly before he decided to get inside his Toyota sedan and drove straight toward the people from earlier, reported Santa Monica police Sgt. Roberto Villegas.

One of the people in the path of the vehicle was identified as Blade Linden.  Linden, according to the news, was injured by the driver Arroyos before the vehicle crashed into a nearby Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurant on the Santa Monica Pier.

Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after the vehicle crashed into the buildings on the pier and arrested 22-year-old Daniel Arroyos on suspicion of attempted murder.
