Car crash involved motorcycle, SUV, and small sedan in northbound lanes

On Monday morning, one person was killed after a three vehicle car crash took place on the northbound Interstate 15 in Fallbrook, according to a news article from 10 News.

California Highway Patrol cited in the news article that the traffic collision took place at approximately 1:30 a.m. in the northbound traffic lanes near State Route 76.

Additionally, sources stated the crash involved a small sedan, an SUV, and a motorcycle.

It was unclear from the report if other people were injured in the collision, but one person was confirmed to have died as a result, said the news.  Currently, the identity of the victim who perished in the crash remains unknown, pending the notification of next-of-kin and family members.

Furthermore, roadway crews shut down the lanes for nearly three hours to clear debris and collect evidence for the investigation.  California Highway Patrol is currently leading an investigation to determine cause and liability.
