One woman hit and killed at Atlantic Avenue car collision in Pittsburg

According to sfgate.com, a woman was killed Monday morning at Atlantic Avenue, east of Railroad Avenue in Pittsburg after she was hit by a car.

As mentioned in the article, authorities responded to a report of a car collision on Atlantic Avenue just east of Railroad Avenue at around 4:50 a.m.

When the authorities arrived, they identified a 35-year-old Antioch woman injured with a head trauma.

Pittsburg Police Department stated that the emergency responders tried to take measures to save the woman but failed.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, officials state.
