Erratic driving resulted to a multi-vehicle collision
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, April 13th 2018, at about 11:09 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the southbound of U.S. Highway 101 and Melrose Avenue in the city of Los Angeles.
In addition, the report stated that a 1997 Ford Ranger with plate number 7W71815 and three additional cars not described by officials were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, authorities stated that the Ford was driving highly erratic prior to traffic collision.
Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by
Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Moreover, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
