Paramedics respond to a Traffic Collision in San Rafael

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Wednesday, May 2nd 2018, at about 1:59 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the southbound of U.S. Highway 101 and Interstate 580 in the city of San Rafael.

In addition, the report stated that a beige commercial truck, a white van, a silver Toyota Prius, a black Toyota Prius and a silver Jaguar were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. 

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.

Furthermore, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Additionally, authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
