Four car collision resulted in injuries

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Sunday, April 1st 2018, about 8:15 p.m. at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic accident involving several vehicles on the southbound Interstate 405 under U.S. Highway 101 in the city of Sherman Oaks.

In addition, authorities mentioned that a gray Lexus RX, Black SUV, 2015 white Toyota Camry, and a fourth vehicle not described in the report were the vehicles involved in the collision that resulted in injuries. The accident caused major front-end damage to the Lexus RX and Toyota Camry, as mentioned by officials.

Several lanes were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by CHP.

Furthermore, it is still unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics and authorities have not released any information on the injured party at this time.

Currently, this incident is under going review by officials as they work to determine the exact cause and liable party of the collision.  Further information will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
