At least one person injured in car collision on the transition road from Highway 60 and the 605 Freeway in Whittier

According to a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Saturday, March 10th 2018, at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on transition road from State Route 60 to the 605 Freeway in the city of Whittier.

Furthermore, authorities did not give a full description of the vehicles involved, but did mention that three to four vehicles were involved in the collision that resulted in injuries in Whittier.  The accident caused the vehicles to block the No. 2 lane of the highway, as state by officials.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, but at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have no word on the condition of the injured party at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
