Motorcyclist hospitalized ensuing traffic accident on the 805 Freeway south of Murray Ridge Rd in San Diego

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Sunday, March 4th 2018, at about 4:13 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a vehicle collision that took occurred on Interstate 805, just south of Murray Ridge Road in the city of San Diego.

Furthermore, officials reported that the motorcycle was seen traveling southbound before getting hit by a dark grey pick-up truck.  The motorcyclist was knocked down and lots of debris was all over the roadway as a result of the collision, as mentioned by CHP.

In addition, the motorcyclist was rushed to a local hospital by paramedics, however authorities have no word on the condition on the injured motorcyclist at this time.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
