Motorcyclist Injured in Traffic Accident on State Route 4 Near Bailey Road in Bay Point

Vehicle accident left motorcyclist injured on Highway 4 near Bailey Rd in Bay Point

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Monday February 26th 2018, at about 3:14 p.m. a motorcyclist was injured as a result of a solo motorcycle accident on State Route 4 on the Bailey Road on-ramp in they city of Bay Point.

Additionally, authorities cited that the motorcyclist was found laying on the right hand side of Highway 4 and appeared to have went down on his own.  Several cars pulled over to assist the injured motorcyclist, as mentioned in the report.

Furthermore, the motorcyclist did break a leg in the accident, and was transported to a nearby hospital.  Authorities have not released any information on the injured motorcyclist.

Currently, this incident is being reviewed by officials as they work to determine the exact cause of the accident, and further details will be available at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
