Four-vehicle collision causes injury to motorcyclist in City of Industry

A motorcyclist appeared to be lying on the ground after a four-vehicle crash that occurred on the southbound 605 Freeway at Peck Road on Wednesday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol incident report.

As mentioned in the report, officers arrived on scene at about 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday on the southbound lanes of the 605 freeway under the bridge.

Sources said that they found a motorcyclist down in the four vehicle collision.  Apparently, a car had overturned in the crash.

Furthermore, paramedics arrived at the scene to treat the injuries of the motorcyclist.  It remains unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.

As a result, the HOV lane closed down for roadway crews to clear the debris as well as for the authorities to conduct their initial interview.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the crash.  Further details will be updated at a later time.
