Motorcycle-involved accident resulted in injuries

According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, April 13th 2018, at about 3:070 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on the westbound of State Route 60 and Mission Boulevard on-ramp in the city of Riverside.

In addition, the report stated that a black Pontiac and a motorcycle were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, the collision caused a brush fire on the right hand shoulder and involved vehicles were pulled off the freeway, as stated by officials.

Furthermore, the westbound on-ramp from Mission Boulevard was shut down due to fire as authorities worked to put out the fire and clear the accident, as stated by the incident log from California Highway Patrol.

There was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. In addition, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash and if anybody were injured in the brush fire.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
