Motorcycle-involved collision in Pomona
According to a California Highway Patrol police report, on Friday, April 20th 2018, at about 4:06 p.m., at least one person was injured ensuing a traffic collision involving several vehicles on the eastbound of Interstate 10 near N White Avenue in the city of Pomona.
In addition, the report stated that a motorcycle and five additional vehicles not described by authorities were the vehicles involved in the traffic collision. Moreover, the motorcyclist was ejected off his motorcycle on the HOV lane, as stated by officials.
The HOV and No. 1 lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
Furthermore, there was at least one person injured as a result of the crash and paramedics arrived shortly after the incident occurred to transport the injured parties to a nearby medical facility. Additionally, the identity of the injured person or persons has not been released yet, according to officials. It is also unknown whether or not there were passengers in the vehicles involved in the crash.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
