CHP is currently investigating crash

According to a news report from Onscenevideo.tv, a DUI driver crashed his vehicle, leaving a mother and child severely injured, and fled the scene last Saturday on 16100 Laguna Seca Drive in Apple Valley.

As mentioned in the report, the accident occurred on Saturday night at about 10:36 p.m. in Apple Valley when a DUI driver crashed and rolled his vehicle after nearly striking an oncoming Sheriff patrol vehicle.

Authorities have indicated that the DUI driver, whose name was not released, then fled the scene and left the mother and child inside the vehicle.  According to the incident report, authorities found the child and the mother and transported them to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, the DUI suspect was found and arrested shortly after.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.  The San Bernardino County Sheriff is currently investigating signs of child endangerment.
