Marshall Buenfil suffers serious injuries in fatal car crash on 5 Freeway

A passenger suffered major injuries and his driver was killed after a fatal car crash on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Sabodan Street in Bakersfield on Tuesday, according to a local news article from Bakersfield Now.

As reported in the article, the accident occurred when the driver of a 2017 Toyota 4Runner drifted off the 5 Freeway on Tuesday in the Fort Tejon area.

California Highway Patrol officers say that the car crashed into a guardrail before authorities arrived at the scene, officials said.

The male passenger, Marshall Buenfil, 21, was transported by paramedics to Kern Medical Hospital for his injuries, said the article.
