Car crash on 65th Street and Broadway in Sacramento kills one person

According to a local news article, on Monday April 16th, 2018, around 10:03 pm, a car crash occurred on 65th Street and Broadway in Sacramento, killing one person.

In addition, Sacramento police and fire departments with paramedics arrived at the scene after calls were made regarding an unconscious man in the roadway, stated the article. Moreover, authorities pronounced the man deceased and was identified as Joey Cabral, stated the news report.

Furthermore, the vehicle that was involved in the collision fled the scene before the authorities arrived, mentioned the officials. Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver and vehicle, stated the article.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.
