Pedestrian hit by car on Harkins Slough Rd behind Ramsay Park in Watsonville dies in hospital

As mentioned by KION 5 News, on Tuesday, March 6th 2018, a man was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Harkins Slough Road near Ramsay Park in the city of Watsonville.

Moreover, the article report that a male pedestrian was walking at about 7:00 a.m. on Harkins Slough Road when he got hit by a vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle was cooperating with authorities, and believe that drugs or alcohol are not a factor in this incident.

In addition, the man was flown to a nearby trauma center where he later died from injuries sustained by the accident.  Authorities have not released the name or age of the victim yet.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
