At least one person injured as a result of a rear-end car collision on the 280 freeway near Wolf road exit in San Jose

On Thursday night, March 15th 2018, California Highway Patrol responded to a three car traffic collision on Interstate 280 and Wolf Road in San Jose according to the CHP report.

According to the report, three cars were involved in what seems to be a domino effect rear-end collision. A grey Mazda sedan rear-ended an unknown vehicle which then hit a red Honda Odyssey said officials. A tow truck was called onto the scene to remove and assist the Mazda from blocking the left lane of the Interstate 280.

Furthermore, officials stated, an ambulance and a precautionary fire truck was called to assist with the car accident. It is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured victim at this time.

Currently, this incident is under review in an ongoing investigation by the authorities, and further details will be reviewed and released to the public as it is determined.
