Truck collision injures at least one person on Highway 10 and Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs

According to a local news article, on Tuesday, April 17th, 2018, around 10:51 am, a car collision occurred on Highway 10 and Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs injuring at least one person.

As mentioned in the report, a big rig rear-ended a car in the area for unknown reasons. In addition, emergency personnel along with officials of the Cathedral City Fire Department responded on the scene and treated the victim who had suffered minor injuries, officials mentioned.

It is unknown at this time if alcohol and or drugs were a factor in this incident.

Several lanes of traffic were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
