James Crosby Killed After DUI Hit-and-Run Accident in Garden Grove
According to a recent article, there was a deadly hit-and-run accident involving a drunken driver on Friday night at the intersection of Euclid Street and Chapman Avenue.
As mentioned in the report, James Crosby, a 51-year-old Garden Grove resident, was killed by a 21-year-old suspect that fled the scene after the crash.
The DUI hit-and-run suspect fled from his vehicle after it crashed into Crosby. Witnesses described the suspect as a shirtless man wearing black shorts. Thanks to the information given, authorities were able to track the suspect a half mile away from the scene. The suspect was still running when he was apprehended, said the Garden Grove police.
Furthermore, the pedestrian, Crosby, received life-saving aid from officers as well as paramedics when they arrived on scene. The victim was transported to UCI Irvine Medical Center, where he shortly died from his injuries at about 9:28 p.m. on Friday, said the coroner’s office.
