Traffic accident hospitalized at least one person
A police report by California Highway Patrol stated that on Monday, April 2nd 2018, a traffic accident that involved several vehicles on the southbound Interstate 680 and Stone Valley Road off-ramp in Alamo sent at least one person to the hospital.
Moreover, at about 4:06 p.m. a black Hyundai Elantra and two other vehicles not described by officials were involved in a collision that resulted in injuries. Authorities report that all three vehicles complained of pain.
In addition, it is unclear how many were injured, but at least one person was transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics. Authorities have not yet released any information on the injured party at this time.
The second lane as well as the express lane were blocked as authorities worked to clear the accident and a tow truck was required for the vehicles involved in the accident, as stated by authorities.
Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash. Further details will be reported at a later time once the investigation has concluded.
