Party trapped inside blazing Toyota pickup after semi-truck collision

According to a recent press release, on Thursday just before midnight, there was a two-vehicle truck accident that occurred on the Interstate 15 near Stoddard Wells Road.

As mentioned in the article, several authorities including California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire responded to traffic collision between a Toyota pickup truck and a semi truck on the 15 Freeway.

Per the article, the Toyota pickup was described to have been engulfed in flames, and it was indicated that there was an occupant trapped inside the truck.

Additionally, after Fire personnel extinguished the flames, authorities determined that the victim trapped inside perished.  The driver of the semi truck, the article then mentions, was reported to have avoided suffering any injuries.

No further details were reported regarding the identities of the parties involved nor was there any indication of any cause of the accident.

Currently, California Highway Patrol is leading the investigation and further details will be reported at a later given time.
