Christopher Anderson of Kings Beach killed near ski resort in Lake Tahoe

Edgar Delgado faces a criminal charge after causing a fatal three-vehicle car accident that took the life of 35-year-old Christopher Anderson of Kings Beach, CA, on SR-267 near Northstar ski resort over the weekend, reported the Fresno Bee.

According to news sources, 21-year-old Edgar Delgado, a Tahoe Vista resident, was the driver responsible for the fatal car accident that occurred over the weekend.

Delgado was driving an Audi on SR-267 just south of Truckee before the major car wreck occurred.  Reportedly, the 21-year-old driver crossed the double yellow lines and side-swiped a Toyota SUV.  Additionally, he crashed into a Subaru vehicle head-on shortly afterwards.

Christopher Anderson of Kings Beach was identified as the 35-year-old driver of the Subaru.  Per the news article, the victim was killed in the accident and pronounced dead at the scene on Saturday morning.

Delgado was transported by paramedics to a Reno hospital for injuries suffered, and as mentioned by officials, he faces a DUI charge after he is released.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
