Vehicle collision injured at least 1 person on Highway 118 west of Tapo Canyon Rd in Simi Valley

As mentioned in a police report by California Highway Patrol, on Monday, March 26th 2018, at about 12:58 p.m. at least one person was injured as a result of a traffic accident that took place on State Route 118, just west of Tapo Canyon Road in the city of Simi Valley.

Moreover, authorities did not give a full description of the vehicles, but they did mention that a blue pick-up truck and another vehicle were involved in the accident.  The collision caused side damage to the pick-up truck, which was also carrying a small dog inside, as stated by CHP.

In addition, it is unclear how many people were injured, however at least one person was transported to a near by hospital by paramedics.  Authorities have not yet released any additional information on the injured victim at this time.
