Car crashes through neighborhood home, killing driver

According to a recent article from the Victor Valley Daily Press, Calvin Fields lost his life in a car crash that occurred at Rimrock Road and Mirage Drive on Tuesday night when the driver crashed through a residence.

The accident occurred just before 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday when Calvin Fields crashed his 2003 Buick SUV on Rimrock Road into a home and his vehicle caught on fire.

Authorities responded to the incident and tried to find the driver of the SUV, reportedly, although the fire was too strong.  Barstow Fire Protection arrived and were able to douse the flames, allowing the officers to locate one victim, who unfortunately died to his injuries.

Additionally, no other injuries were reported in the article.

Currently, the traffic collision is being investigated by the authorities, and further information will be relayed at a later time.
