“Bama Greg” killed in bicycle accident in Redondo Beach

Bicyclist Greg Trawick, 52, was killed in a car accident on Monday night in Redondo Beach at Artesia Boulevard and Felton Lane, according to a news article from The Beach Reporter.

In the article, it was stated that the accident occurred just before 9:15 p.m. on Monday, September 4 when Greg Trawick was riding his bicycle northbound across Artesia Boulevard from the east side of Felton Lane.

A driver struck the man at the cross and as a result, Trawick died at the scene of the accident.  According to the article, the female driver cooperated with investigators after the accident, and a press release from the Redondo Beach Police Department indicated that no drugs or alcohol were involved and no charges were expected to be filed.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
