Hit-and-Run driver of a black Chevy Tahoe struck and killed crossing pedestrian

According to a recent article, there was a car accident in which a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a crossing pedestrian named Albert Arnold last Saturday morning.

As mentioned in the article, the accident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. at W. 88th Street, when the bicyclist was crossing the street with his bicycle.

Reportedly, as he walked across the street, the unidentified driver of a black Chevy Tahoe rushed across the intersection to avoid a red light, hitting and injuring Arnold in the process.  Sources said that the driver failed to remain at the scene after the collision and left in his vehicle.

Sources stated that the victim was identified later as Albert Arnold, a 57-year-old man.

 Currently, their is a $50,000 reward for any information leading to the conviction of the driver responsible for this fatal hit-and-run.  This collision remains under investigation by the authorities and further updates will be released as given.
