Car engulfed in flames following devastating crash in Moreno Valley

According to a news report from onscenevideo.tv, at least three people were injured in a single-vehicle collision on Sunnymead Boulevard and Frederick Street in Moreno Valley on Sunday at about 4:30 a.m.

The accident occurred at about 4:30 a.m. at the intersection of Sunnymead Boulevard and Frederick Street in Moreno Valley when Cal Fire Riverside County responded to a dispatch regarding a solo vehicle traffic collision.

Responding authorities arrived and located a single vehicle that had sustained major damage and crashed into a traffic sign in front of a Shell gas station., according to the report.

Additionally, witnesses stated that the vehicle crashed into a pole coming off the CA-60 off ramp at a high rate of speed, said the article.  It caught fire after the impact and continued to go onto the sidewalk before the vehicle crashed into the traffic sign.

Witnesses and bystanders attempted to help a victim out of their burning vehicle, and others attempted to put the fire out, said the source.

Reports indicated that at least three occupants were in the vehicle, and they all sustained moderate to serious injuries.  Paramedics then arrived and transported the injured parties to a local hospital.  No names were mentioned in the news report.

Currently, this crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the exact cause and liable party in the crash.
